Dinner @ Spago

Diversity Dinner - Spago - 4/4/07
So! Yesterday was my first day of keeping track of what I ate. And of course, on the 2nd day I have a free dinner at Spago... on the house. Great. Thanks a lot, me. Today I didn't buy anything exciting, so I'll go straight to the sustenance portion of this marvelous blog.

April 4, 2007

Breakfast: potatoes, scrambled eggs, English muffin, OJ

Lunch: sandwich (spicy mustard, mayo, chicken, tomato, lettuce, pickles), broccoli, fingerling potatoes, 2 tiny chocolate muffins

Snack: 2% sugar-free vanilla latte

Dinner: cesar salad, three slices of nut bread with butter, some tiny pasta dish appetizer thingy, steak, mashed potatoes, peas, half of a chocolate lava cake, half of a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream

Mmmmm Spago was pretty damn tasty. I'm not sure I'd go there on my own (aka, I wouldn't pay for the food) but it was HELLA* good for being free.

Tomorrow is another day, hopefully a lovely sunny warm Thursday. I have possible options for evening entertainment: gym, dinner, karaoke with coworkers VS crab dinner with high school buddies (actually, they were my BAND friends... go Trombones!). So we'll see which event pans out tomorrow night. Either way... I'm glad I have options.

*I am trying to incorporate this word into everyday lingo, as it is still awkward to use. I'm wannabe Nor-Cal
