Ta-dah

It's official, I am now a "Blogger." Although technically I was a blogger when I started my xanga a few years ago. Unfortunately, xanga has turned into a somewhat freaky stalker-tool. Whatever, back to the point of me being a Blogger. I've decided to start writing in this thingy because I wanted a distraction from work and also, I was inspired by the loverly Mindy... the "Indian Chick" from The Office. I didn't know that 1) she's a writer on the show 2) she's a shopaholic 3) she's hilarious. Everyone should check out her blog...

Anyway, I'll probably just use this blog to write about my shopping extravaganzas, my boring days, and my nonexistent love life. How pathetic.

So to start this blog off right, I'll write about my latest purchase. Nanette Lepore perfume which was kind of suggested by Mindy in her blog (I got the original scent, not the one Mindy suggests) Here's her description of the Shanghai Butterfly scent "
So when you don't want to ooze Sexuality, and you want to ooze Normal Awesome Girl, or you just don't want to ooze at all, you should wear Nanette Lepore Shanghai Butterfly." Basically, since I don't ooze any type of sexuality and I pretty much live in jeans and a sweatshirt I thought this would be an excellent scent for me (also I haven't bought any new perfumes in over 3 years, it's time.). I went by Nordys @ the Stonestown mall to try it out. Since I didn't ask for the Shanghai Butterfly perfume, the saleslady just let me smell the original perfume and I really really liked it! It smells crisp, fresh, and sweet. It's not over powering and it's not sickeningly sweet. It's perfect. So I bought a huge ass bottle and now I smell "very naice." So instead of wreaking of "Normal Awesome Girl" now I will wreak of "SUPER Normal Awesome Girl"... or so I'd like to think. Thanks, Mindy!*

And after work today, I'm going to head out to Urban Outfitters @ Santana Row with Cecilia (hereby known as "Cheech") to go shopping a bit for a belated birthday present, and of course... for myself. So I think I'll end the first entry of this blog here. Seacrest, OUT!

*I hope this blog doesn't turn out to be some kind of psychotic tribute to Mindy. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
